Tunnel Farming
The HAI-Pak is currently running three tunnel farming projects at Mansehra, KPK, which have, over a period of time, totally changed the concept of vegetable farming in the area. Spreading over 5 kanal area, the farms are being run on modern principals of agriculture and hence giving optimal production uninterruptedly.
As many as 50 families are the direct beneficiaries of this project while many others expressing keen interest to replicate this model at their respective places. The HAI-Pak takes pride in the fact that following the success of its tunnel farming project, a new vegetable market has sprung up in the area, creating income generation opportunities for many other people as well.
